Senior Back-End JS Engineer (Ecommerce)

Location: Remote with fixed working hours of approximately 40 hours per week, divided into core and flexible daily time slots.

What you will do

• Build and improve online marketplace and ecommerce platforms.
• Design and implement user-centric backend solutions that balance technical and business needs.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs using NodeJS and NodeJS frameworks.
• Work with relational databases and Docker in local and production environments.
• Apply Agile methodologies and contribute to structured product development processes.
• Implement Test Driven Development, test automation, and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a NodeJS expert.
• 3+ years of experience with NodeJS frameworks such as Nest or Express.
• 3+ years of experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Experience using Docker in local and production environments.
• Strong understanding and proven implementation of Agile methodologies.
• Proven application of Test Driven Development within a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery environment.
• Experience with test automation.
• Strong communication skills, effective feedback exchange, cross-functional collaboration, disciplined time management, and experience working remotely.

Nice to have

• Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, AWS, or Elasticsearch.
