Chief Financial Officer (Healthcare)

Maximum annual base salary: $225,000–$250,000

hirify.global is managing the initial recruitment process for affiliate partner WWMG, which will be the direct employer for this position in a healthcare organization.

What you will do

• Lead the organization’s financial strategy, stability, operating performance, and short- and long-term financial planning.
• Prepare and present budgets, forecasts, profit and loss reports, cash-flow reports, financial statements, and actual-versus-budget analyses to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Manage accounting, financial planning and analysis, cash management, accounts payable and receivable, month-end close, financial systems, controls, tax filings, and audit preparation.
• Oversee investments, banking relationships, vendor and business-partner relationships, lenders, investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Ensure GAAP, IFRS, SOX, tax, regulatory, legal, internal-control, SEC-reporting, and healthcare-compliance requirements are addressed.
• Hire, manage, mentor, and develop finance directors, managers, and staff while guiding larger cross-divisional teams.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience working within a medical group in a financial capacity.
• 5–7 years of experience negotiating payer contracts within a medical group or vendor.
• Experience designing or managing financial incentives and models within Value-Based Care delivery models.
• Experience designing, implementing, and running physician compensation models within medical groups.
• 3–5 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role and 8–10 years of total accounting or finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred; CPA and MBA preferred.
• Background in a Big Four or regional public accounting firm.
• Outstanding knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting.
• Hands-on ERP systems experience, strong communication and presentation skills, executive presence, leadership ability, analytical and problem-solving skills, and significant experience with external auditors, internal controls, and healthcare compliance.
