Senior Software Engineer (AI/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of complex, multi-component features across a cloud-native platform.
• Own architecture for new product areas, make technical trade-offs, write design documents, and drive reviews.
• Break down ambiguous AI-shaped problems into concrete engineering work and deliver production solutions.
• Build and operate systems running at meaningful scale on Kubernetes.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, mentorship, and effective use of AI tooling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including shipping and operating production systems at a commercial product company.
• Independent technical leadership experience, including personally architecting systems, writing design documents, and leading projects from idea to production.
• Ability to decompose ambiguous, large-scope projects into clear, shippable tasks.
• Hands-on experience operating high-scale production systems, including performance, reliability, and cost trade-offs.
• Deep, daily experience working in Kubernetes-based environments.
• AI-first engineering approach, including concrete experience using AI tooling, understanding its limitations, and designing products that responsibly leverage LLMs and agents.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of C#, Python, Go, Node.js, or Java, with comfort working across the stack using modern frontend technologies including React and TypeScript.
• Solid grounding in relational databases and data modeling, plus experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Background in an elite Israeli military technology unit in addition to industry experience.
• Startup experience, especially as an early or senior engineer in a fast-growth environment.
• Experience building LLM-powered agents, AI products, or security-focused engineering.
