Software Architect Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Ramat Gan, Israel, Tel Aviv District

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and evolution of the cloud-native SaaS platform.
• Define the vision, architecture, and practices for transforming the software development lifecycle into an AI-driven development lifecycle.
• Design, build, and evolve an agentic development platform that enables AI agents throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available distributed systems.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and development teams.
• Create architecture documents, technical designs, RFCs, implementation plans, and technology roadmaps; validate technologies through proof-of-concepts and contribute to production code when needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing and building large-scale distributed software systems.
• Proven experience as a Software Architect, Principal Engineer, or in a similar technical leadership role.
• Deep expertise designing and operating cloud-native SaaS platforms at scale.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and modern cloud architecture.
• Strong Kubernetes expertise, including KEDA, Karpenter, and modern autoscaling strategies.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, high availability, resilience, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of modern database technologies, data architecture, and large-scale data platforms.
• Excellent architecture documentation and technical writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and software development teams; strong leadership, influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A hands-on mindset with experience building, experimenting, validating ideas, and working directly with engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-native systems or integrating Large Language Models into production.
• Experience designing or implementing AI-Driven Development Lifecycle processes.
• Experience building developer AI platforms, coding agents, agentic workflows, or engineering automation systems.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agent orchestration frameworks, or AI evaluation platforms.
• Production software development experience with Go, Java, Node, and .NET Core.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure; AWS experience is required.
• Experience presenting architectural strategies to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience designing or building enterprise-scale Data Lake platforms.
