Finance Analyst (Crypto)

Location: Remote within the EU time zone; based at the central Zurich office.

What you will do

• Own incoming invoices end to end, including validation, coding, approval routing, payment scheduling, supplier records, and invoice tracking.
• Maintain the general ledger across all hirify.global entities, including postings, accruals, prepayments, intercompany entries, reconciliations, journals, and balance sheet substantiation.
• Run the month-end close and keep books audit-ready year-round under Swiss CO and GwG retention requirements.
• Prepare and own the audit pack for Big 4 handoff, respond to auditor queries, gather documentation, and close audit findings on schedule.
• Monitor fiat and entity cash positions, flag liquidity gaps, prepare payment runs, support FX and funding movements, and maintain the cash forecast.
• Produce monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance reporting, maintain reporting workbooks, and support quarterly board and investor reporting.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or Big 4/audit.
• Abacus know-how or equivalent bookkeeping software.
• Daily use of Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI models in the workflow.
• Strong reconciliation and Excel skills, with fluency in ERP or accounting systems.
• Working knowledge of Swiss GAAP/CO.
• High accuracy, first-pass-right discipline, and ownership under deadlines.
• Fluent English.
• Swiss work authorisation or EU/EFTA nationality.
