Domain Architect SAP Platform

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end SAP Platform domain within the Enterprise Platforms value stream and translate the value stream roadmap into domain plans.
• Maintain the rolling six-quarter plan covering SAP platform modernization, including S/4 infrastructure, BTP, lifecycle management, and technical standardization.
• Manage delivery dependencies, risks, governance, platform capabilities, modernization outcomes, technical debt, and unnecessary customization.
• Manage SAP stakeholders and ecosystem partners, including SAP, hyperscalers, and system integrators.
• Drive SAP platform evolution across Basis, BTP, and platform services while maintaining clear separation from application ownership and operational run responsibilities.
• Lead and coach SAP platform teams, improving engineering practices, delivery predictability, quality, and team capability.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP platform architecture.
• Demonstrable experience with SAP platforms, including ERP, BTP, supporting tooling, and cloud hosting.
• Ability to own SAP platform architecture and total cost of ownership.
• Ability to define the SAP Platform architecture vision and roadmap.
• Experience enforcing ERP controls and data integrity through governance and secure-by-design practices.
• Experience producing and maintaining SAP Platform architecture artefacts and application repositories.
• Expertise in S/4HANA platform maintenance, security, compliance, extensibility, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, collaborate with stakeholders, make timely decisions, apply business insight, and develop strategic perspectives.
