Infrastructure & Digital Workplace Project Manager (Microsoft/Identity Management)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

What you will do

• Coordinate infrastructure and digital workplace initiatives in an approximately 0.5 FTE part-time engagement.
• Define project scope, priorities, milestones, and delivery plans with senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate work involving devices, mobile applications, corporate networks, Wi-Fi, printing, identity and access management, SSO, access matrices, and access reviews.
• Coordinate onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding with the People team.
• Oversee the clean-up and migration of a legacy Microsoft tenant, file shares, and access rights.
• Coordinate resilience initiatives covering network segregation, DNS, disaster recovery, and backups; track risks and blockers and ensure documentation and handover.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience delivering infrastructure or digital workplace projects, ideally involving tenant migration or identity management.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams autonomously within an approximately 0.5 FTE part-time engagement.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365, identity management, and device management concepts.
• Knowledge of access management processes, including roles, access reviews, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Experience managing CTO-level stakeholders and collaborating with IT, HR, and international teams.
• Ability to coordinate technical specialists and translate their input into clear plans, priorities, and decisions.
• Strong project planning, risk management, and documentation skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work from the European Union region and possession of a work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with Intune, Entra ID, or Zscaler.
• Familiarity with Azure file services and SharePoint migration.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 or SOC 2 controls.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or large international organisations.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certification.
• Practical experience implementing AI tools in a workplace environment.
