Senior Network Engineer (Singapore)

What you will do

• Engineer, build, and operate network services for global data centers, cloud platforms, and product connectivity.
• Optimize global backbone routing and highly available Layer 3 architectures using BGP, OSPF, routing policies, redundancy, ECMP, and traffic engineering.
• Deliver secure hybrid and cloud-native connectivity across AWS, Azure, and GCP using interconnects, VPNs, transit gateways, and cloud routing services.
• Develop network automation with Python, Ansible/AWX, Git-driven CI/CD workflows, automated testing, configuration validation, and compliance checks.
• Own network availability and performance through monitoring, telemetry, capacity planning, configuration drift detection, lifecycle management, and complex incident resolution.
• Lead changes, upgrades, migrations, vendor escalations, security remediation, documentation, and mentoring across architecture, security, compliance, build, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale, multi-region, and global routing environments.
• Deep hands-on expertise with BGP and OSPF, including route propagation, routing policy, traffic engineering, ECMP, route reflectors, and multi-vendor interoperability.
• Strong engineering and operational experience with JunOS.
• Advanced knowledge of F5 BIG-IP architecture, iRules, LTM, DNS/GTM, SSL/TLS, WAF, and highly available enterprise deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, TCP/IP, asymmetric paths, latency, packet loss, MTU/fragmentation, and QoS using logs, packet captures, and network diagnostic tools.
• Hands-on experience with hybrid and cloud-native networking in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, including Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Transit Gateway, Virtual WAN, and cloud routers.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible/AWX, configuration templating, Git workflows, and automated testing and validation pipelines.
• Strong understanding of network security controls, boundary protection, segmentation, encryption, logging, firewalls, VPNs, DDoS mitigation, IDS/IPS, and NIST 800-53-based security frameworks.
• Strong incident leadership, cross-functional communication, structured problem-solving, prioritization, mentoring, and commitment to respectful collaboration and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience with Juniper MX, QFX, and SRX platforms.
• Familiarity with EOS, NX-OS, or IOS-XE.
