Senior Network Engineer (Cisco/Fortinet)

What you will do

• Monitor and maintain network performance, availability, and reliability across enterprise and airport operational networks.
• Provide advanced Level 2 support and resolve network incidents and performance issues.
• Coordinate and implement approved network configuration changes, including testing, validation, and risk management.
• Support vulnerability assessments, remediation, security standards compliance, and configuration reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and project stakeholders on secure and resilient network services.
• Contribute to documentation, diagrams, operational reporting, infrastructure projects, and team knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Experience in network operations, engineering, or support, ideally with Cisco or Fortinet technologies.
• Familiarity with routing, switching, and network security principles.
• Knowledge of firewall administration, authentication systems, and risk assessment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with an emphasis on learning and adaptability.
• Experience with incident resolution, monitoring tools, or change management systems.
• Ability to manage documentation, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with different teams.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment focused on reliability, security, and quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and transparency.
