System Integration Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; eligibility for Security Clearance from the Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs (CAT 2) required

The role supports an aerospace, defence, and digital security client through the NexGen Air Traffic Management System program.

What you will do

• Integrate and test incremental software releases for complex software-centric real-time systems and subsystems.
• Set up and document environments for integration, testing, acceptance, and validation activities.
• Define and execute regression, interface, simulation, performance, loading, and response-time testing across multiple platforms.
• Analyse, troubleshoot, document, and resolve system and subsystem technical and functional issues.
• Collaborate with system, subsystem, infrastructure, technical lead, work package, customer, and verification and validation teams.
• Create engineering documentation, automate system administration tasks, identify and mitigate risks, support junior integrators, and improve integration processes and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar positions integrating complex software-centric real-time systems.
• At least 3 years of experience understanding and troubleshooting virtualization platforms and client/server operating systems.
• Linux/Unix, Windows, VMware, SNMP services, and RSYSLOG.
• At least 3 years of scripting experience with Python, Shell, and XML.
• Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, GIT including Bitbucket, JIRA, LDAP, Active Directory, PKI, SNMP, UDP, TCP/IP, Wireshark, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary integrated team with colleagues based at remote sites or in other countries.
• Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Ability to communicate complex engineering issues and concepts clearly in written and verbal communication, tailored to stakeholders; excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Eligibility for Security Clearance from the Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs, CAT 2.

Nice to have

• Java and C++ programming experience.
• Site integration and deployment experience.
• Knowledge of networks and network configuration or exposure to distributed systems.
• Experience integrating large projects, preferably air traffic control projects in military or civilian environments.
