Purchasing Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: Port Washington, New York, USA; onsite at HQ

Salary: $69,000–$137,000 USD annual

What you will do

• Review inventory requirements and release purchase orders.
• Manage optimal inventory levels across different plants and coordinate purchasing with manufacturing.
• Monitor purchase orders, update delivery schedules, and resolve delivery issues with relevant teams.
• Work with demand planning and sales teams to manage materials and ensure orders are fulfilled.
• Compare supplier pricing, quality, availability, and terms; negotiate supplier contracts.
• Evaluate supplier and product quality and ensure suppliers meet company expectations and needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree required.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience or industry exposure in a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and people-management skills.
• Negotiation, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Understanding of purchase-order software platforms and MRP systems.
• Experience with inventory management, purchase orders, meeting organization, SAP, and time management.
• Math skills for accurate calculations and avoiding unforeseen losses.
• IT skills for troubleshooting essential computer programs.
• English and Korean language skills.
