Senior Program Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: US - Mountain View, CA. On-site role associated with a US facility; US citizenship and the ability to attain and maintain a government security clearance are required.

Salary: $150,400–$200,500 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate programs from order entry, material procurement, production scheduling, testing, quality follow-down, and delivery to customers.
• Manage customer contracts and specific contract line items involving computer-based systems and government programs.
• Plan, direct, and control financial, engineering, manufacturing, scheduling, labor, and resource activities.
• Monitor programs from initiation through delivery, assess risks, develop recovery plans, and ensure schedule, budget, quality, technical, and revenue objectives are met.
• Lead cross-functional coordination, resolve conflicting priorities and operational problems, and communicate with supervisors, peer groups, customers, senior management, and executive stakeholders.
• Develop procedures, standard operating procedures, production-efficiency improvements, status reports, budget recommendations, and support for new business proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related manufacturing field and at least 15 years of directly related experience and/or training in project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• US citizenship and ability to attain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence and present information effectively to customers or employees.
• Ability to solve practical problems and work with varied concrete variables where limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project.
• General knowledge of ERP/MRP software.
• Availability during evenings and weekends when necessary to meet goals and deadlines.
