Principal Solutions Architect - ICX (AI)

Location: Remote, United States / Boston, MA

Salary: $293,400 annually; eligible for a target incentive of 7.5% of base salary.

What you will do

• Lead strategic enterprise programs from discovery through production deployment and operationalization.
• Act as the primary technical leader across multiple customer engagements and align executives, stakeholders, partners, product teams, and engineering organizations.
• Translate business use cases into scalable architectures, reference implementations, and solution blueprints using Intelligence Center X, AI Studio, hirify.global, Graph, and cloud-native technologies.
• Design and implement enterprise knowledge graphs, semantic data models, graph-powered retrieval, contextual reasoning, and agentic workflows.
• Establish security, governance, scalability, observability, and operational practices for production-grade graph and AI systems.
• Guide AI transformation, enterprise intelligence, operational modernization, adoption planning, and value realization.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise software delivery, solution architecture, consulting, or digital transformation leadership.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing graph database solutions and enterprise knowledge graphs.
• Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, systems integration, cloud platforms, distributed systems, graph data modeling, ontology design, semantic architectures, and relationship analytics.
• Experience with graph database technologies such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, TigerGraph, Stardog, ArangoDB, or similar platforms, and graph query languages including SPARQL, Cypher, Gremlin, or equivalents.
• Experience leading large-scale technology implementations for Fortune 1000 organizations.
• Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, and enterprise automation platforms.
• Experience with context engineering strategy, including information selection, chunking, summarization, ordering, and governance across tools, skills, and knowledge sources.
• Demonstrated success managing executive stakeholder relationships and complex delivery programs, with exceptional communication, facilitation, leadership, and consulting skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing and Product Lifecycle Management, including product structures, bills of materials, engineering change management, and digital thread initiatives.
• Experience implementing graph-based digital thread, product intelligence, or manufacturing knowledge graph solutions.
• Familiarity with semantic web standards, RDF, OWL, linked data, and knowledge representation frameworks.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; Retrieval-Augmented Generation, agent frameworks, and enterprise AI architectures.
• Knowledge of enterprise data governance, master data management, and metadata management practices.
• Advanced degree in a related field, relevant cloud, architecture, AI, or graph technology certifications, or experience in the ADT sector.
