Staff Solutions Architect (Cloud)

Location: Remote within the United States; must reside in the Pacific time zone, with preference for the San Francisco Bay Area or Seattle Area. Travel expected 25–50%.

Salary: $168,000–$220,500 salary, plus $72,000–$94,500 commission and equity.

What you will do

• Work with prospects and customers to assess application fit for hirify.global’s platform and cloud service.
• Explain hirify.global’s technical benefits and limitations and position it against competing technologies and architectural patterns.
• Drive adoption and expansion of hirify.global in customer production environments and support long-term customer outcomes.
• Partner with Account Executives on account plans for new opportunities and expansion, including opportunity scoping and sizing.
• Manage technical relationships with customer decision-makers and advise on architectural fit and challenges.
• Create reusable technical assets, reference architectures, playbooks, and demos for Solutions Architects.

Requirements

• Residence within the Pacific time zone in the United States is required; preference is given to candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area or Seattle Area.
• Exceptional technical communication skills across staff-level engineers, platform teams, and VP/CTO stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems technologies, design principles, and best practices.
• Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance with one or more of Java, Golang, Python, C#, TypeScript, Ruby, or Rust.
• Strong understanding of production considerations including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
• Ability to advise on application patterns and platform architectures.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with common application development and production services.
• Ability to act as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives on technical fit, challenges, scoping, and sizing.
