Associate, Commercial Loan Servicing

Location: NY LI Jericho, United States; full-time onsite role. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Base pay: $63,750–$107,500 USD annually.

What you will do

• Input commercial loan data, terms, and conditions into loan booking systems using approved documentation.
• Review credit agreements, promissory notes, and other loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Onboard new commercial loans, renewals, and modifications, ensuring all required fields are completed correctly.
• Verify entered data against source documents and research and resolve discrepancies or data-entry issues.
• Interpret loan and fee accrual terms, perform calculations, and support reconciliations and remediation for commercial loans and letters of credit.
• Collaborate with managers and internal stakeholders to improve booking and servicing workflows and support administrative functions and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial loan operations.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and various bank systems.
• Working knowledge of Commercial Banking.
• Strong knowledge of syndicated and commercial loan products and markets, including industry standards and best practices.
• Ability to review and interpret legal documentation supporting syndicated and commercial loan products.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and standard practices.
• In-depth knowledge of market initiatives to streamline and automate Middle Office support functions.
• Ability to continuously review workflows, functionalize ideas for organizational change, clearly convey complex concepts, and implement departmental structural and procedural changes.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively as part of a team.
