UX/CX Designer (AI)

Location: Remote — Romania; candidates must be based in Romania and work at least 2 hours per day Monday through Thursday during U.S. Mountain Time business hours.

Salary: $2,083–$2,917 USD gross per month, with a midpoint of $2,500.

What you will do

• Design end-to-end experiences for internal AI tools serving approximately 10,000 enterprise users, from concepts and task flows to high-fidelity working prototypes.
• Build and iterate quickly in Lovable using AI-assisted and vibe-coding workflows, moving work into VS Code and merging it with existing projects when needed.
• Apply user-centered design methods to frame problems, identify questions, and connect user insights to design decisions.
• Create storyboards, wireframes, journey maps, task flows, scenarios, personas, and other design artifacts across different levels of fidelity.
• Use and contribute to the design system, including UI controls, content templates, icons, form design, and navigation models.
• Plan and facilitate remote and live design thinking workshops, present design direction to stakeholders and executives, and validate solutions through lightweight research and usability checks.

Requirements

• Training or certification in user-centered design or design thinking from a recognized program such as IDEO, IBM, Stanford, LUMA, or Forrester.
• At least 3 years of hands-on UX/UI, product, or service design experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong UX/UI design skills demonstrated through a portfolio of shipped work.
• Hands-on experience designing and prototyping in Lovable.
• Ability to independently gather user context and turn it into design strategy and execution without detailed direction.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, including presenting complex concepts to executive audiences.
• A portfolio is required and must show the design process, the candidate’s role on each project, and examples of shipped or delivered work.

Nice to have

• Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Experience shipping products or delivering to customers through an end-to-end design process.
• Hands-on primary UX research experience, including planning and conducting one-to-one user interviews.
• Experience designing, planning, and facilitating live and virtual design thinking workshops.
• Experience in the technology sector with enterprise B2B customers.
• Experience with VS Code, GitHub, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch.
