Developer Productivity Intern (AI Robotics)

Location: San Jose, CA; minimum 10 weeks working at hirify.global headquarters

US base pay: $40.00–$45.00 per hour

hirify.global is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots for home and commercial markets.

What you will do

• Contribute to the architecture and implementation of next-generation, large-scale build and deployment infrastructure.
• Redefine development environments to improve ease of use and developer productivity.
• Develop backend and frontend tools supporting build infrastructure.
• Collaborate with firmware, embedded, middleware, and AI/ML engineers to ship platforms and features.

Requirements

• Be a rising senior or recent graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, graduating within one year.
• Complete a minimum of 10 weeks working at hirify.global headquarters.
• Have strong Linux and systems fundamentals, including networking, storage, processes, and containers.
• Be proficient in at least one of Go, Rust, C++, or Python.

Nice to have

• Projects using distributed systems, content-addressable storage, or caching.
• Experience with Bazel.
• Experience deploying services with Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Experience with LLMs and other AI tooling.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another major cloud provider.
