Senior Business Analyst - Public Sector Exp - C2C ok

Location: Towson, Maryland; hybrid, with up to 2 remote days per week (approximately 40% remote and 60% onsite). Fully remote and out-of-state employment are not authorized.

Salary: $45.00–$60.00 per hour. Contract for 1 year with an option to extend; W-2 or C2C accepted. The schedule is 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Develop functional and non-functional system requirements, needs assessments, requirements analyses, system designs, delivery roadmaps, and integration specifications.
• Analyze County systems, business processes, data flows, operations, and procedures, and recommend process improvements and technology solutions.
• Partner with County users, business stakeholders, project managers, application developers, vendors, and subject matter experts throughout implementation.
• Create prototypes, technical design documents, functional specifications, unit and system test scripts, and user acceptance testing materials.
• Support internal and external integrations through design, testing, troubleshooting, reporting, and system performance metrics.
• Provide technical assistance, resolve problems, support change requests, conduct user training, and participate in full life-cycle system development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field and five years of experience in systems analysis, change management analysis, project management, program analysis, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience with public safety implementations and in post-production environments as a primary technical resource.
• At least five years of experience with public safety projects.
• Experience working for a government entity.
• Knowledge of planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining computer information systems.
• Knowledge of methods and techniques for analyzing and evaluating business operations, including administrative process automation and information technology project feasibility.
• Ability to create precise technical documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, design documents, test plans, and test scripts for varied audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, business process, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and teams.
• Ability to maintain the security and confidentiality of proprietary or sensitive data.
