Senior Financial Analyst (Production & Operations)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid schedule requiring work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD 80,000–95,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, strategic and operating plans, and variance analysis for Rockefeller Center Operations.
• Coordinate monthly financial closes, recurring journal entries, actuals-to-budget reconciliations, allocations, cross-charges, and intercompany transfers.
• Maintain Facilities space allocations and files used to budget and track expenses.
• Build capital budget plans with the Rockefeller Center Operations Project Management team.
• Create financial reports, models, and ad-hoc analyses to support operational and business decisions.
• Maintain finance process documentation and identify opportunities to improve existing models and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Finance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate concise financial information to operations, controllership, FP&A, and senior leadership.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, solve problems independently, learn new concepts quickly, manage multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong organization, time management, and interpersonal skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP or a similar application.
• Experience in the media or facilities industry.
