Senior or Lead Financial Analyst (FP&A Revenue Planning)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; hybrid work with three days per week in the office. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $82,200–$123,200 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain revenue forecasts, analyze financial results, and support the Annual Financial Plan process.
• Identify key drivers of revenue performance and translate complex financial and regulatory information into business recommendations.
• Compile, organize, and format qualitative and quantitative data for internal and external reporting.
• Gather data, prepare regulatory schedules, pro-forma calculations, testimony, and data requests, and support regulatory initiatives.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Demand Forecasting, Accounting, corporate, business-unit, and other F&A partners.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in a business discipline.
• At least four years of experience in finance, accounting, regulatory work, or a related field.
• Multiple functional experience.
• Knowledge of PC applications.
• Regulatory finance acumen, including understanding how changes to financial statements flow through to customer bills.
• Working knowledge of financial statements, metrics, measures, economic and industry data, operating plans, and the F&A organization.
• Ability to build partnerships, provide decision support, influence stakeholders, and recommend effective courses of action after evaluating options.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities, generate ideas, and implement solutions.
• Ability to document work fully and accurately.

Nice to have

• FP&A, financial reporting, and business analytics expertise with strong forecasting, modeling, and performance management experience.
• Experience driving process improvements, automation, and scalable reporting solutions across enterprise data environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills focused on measurable business outcomes.
• Experience applying Lean and operational excellence principles.
