Senior Network Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in the Nashville, Tennessee office, United States.

Annual base salary: $163,000–$176,000, plus benefits and a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless networks across global offices and data centers.
• Architect and manage SD-WAN, VPN, AWS and/or Azure connectivity, routing, switching, and Cisco Catalyst and Meraki environments.
• Implement network security controls including Palo Alto firewalls, NAC, segmentation, and zero-trust principles.
• Use AIOps and AI-driven network assurance, and design network architecture for AI service consumption with OpenAI and Bedrock.
• Monitor network health, lead performance tuning and root-cause analysis, and support office build-outs, migrations, and technology refreshes.
• Automate configuration and recurring tasks, maintain documentation and runbooks, mentor junior engineers, provide tier-3 escalation support, and participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise or service-provider environments, including a senior or lead role.
• Solid working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and enterprise Cisco platforms including Catalyst and Meraki.
• Advanced experience with Palo Alto firewalls, network security, firewall administration, and segmentation.
• Design-level experience with SD-WAN and cloud networking in AWS and/or Azure.
• Understanding of network monitoring, packet analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Comfort using GenAI tools for configuration validation, documentation, and automated testing.

Nice to have

• CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, AWS, or Azure certifications.
• Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with media and entertainment workflows or high-bandwidth production environments.
• Experience supporting global, multi-site organizations with 24x7 availability requirements.
