What you will do

• Produce, report, shoot, write, voice, edit, and feed news content for television, internet, mobile, and other platforms.
• Produce OBS-style newscasts and create dynamic live shots, stand-ups, graphics, and social media content.
• Arrange interviews, capture video, organize materials, determine story angles, and write content according to editorial standards.
• Enterprise and develop daily stories with management, gathering and verifying information through interviews, observation, and research.
• Build a network of sources and write stories for web and other eMedia platforms.
• Complete special projects and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, or a related field is required; equivalent years of experience may substitute for education.
• Three years of television anchoring or reporting experience is required.
• Electronic News Gathering (ENG) experience is required.
• Demonstrated reporting skills, solid vocal delivery, camera presence, and clear enunciation.
• Excellent reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of the importance of social media.
• Ability to operate newsroom computer systems.
• Ability to promote teamwork and maintain a cooperative attitude with station personnel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OBS and VMIX.
