Senior Analyst, Business Systems Analysis (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead discovery and requirements activities for technology enablement requests, defining business outcomes, scope, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and operational impacts.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, process maps, system specifications, user stories, and implementation documentation.
• Analyze current-state processes and system behavior, identify gaps, and recommend scalable solutions aligned with enterprise standards and governance.
• Coordinate testing, validation, implementation support, issue triage, risk assessment, readiness activities, and post-launch stabilization.
• Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to troubleshoot complex issues, communicate decisions, and maintain delivery traceability.
• Develop training and knowledge materials, coach junior analysts, and contribute to continuous improvement of intake, analysis, and delivery methods.

Requirements

• Substantial business systems analysis experience, including responsibility for complex system, process, or technology initiatives.
• Ability to elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements with clear acceptance criteria and traceability.
• Experience supporting system development and implementation lifecycles, including testing, issue resolution, rollout readiness, and operational transition.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk assessment, option evaluation, and practical recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including detailed requirements, process documentation, reports, and stakeholder presentations.
• Ability to independently manage assignments, coordinate across multiple teams, and provide direction or coaching to other analysts.
• University degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise work-management, product-management, or portfolio platforms such as Jira, Aha!, or Planview.
• Experience with process governance, tool configuration, data analysis, controls, documentation, or technology adoption initiatives.
• Familiarity with agile delivery practices, backlog management, user stories, process mapping, and structured testing or quality-assurance methods.
