Product Manager, North America Cross Border Strategy (Payments)

Location: US - San Francisco, CA; hybrid with at least 3 days in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time. Work hours vary according to department needs.

Salary: $156,800–$251,100 USD per year; may include potential sales incentive payments. Bonus and equity may also be available.

What you will do

• Support the development and execution of the hirify.global Destinations strategy, roadmap, and commercialization agenda across priority markets and corridors.
• Analyze cardholder spend, travel patterns, market trends, merchant performance, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Support engagement with issuers, merchants, and partners to advance program development and activation.
• Create executive and client presentations, enablement materials, and other commercialization assets.
• Manage cross-functional workstreams, project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor program and partner performance, identify optimization opportunities, and synthesize findings into recommendations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree, or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Experience in payments, financial services, strategy, product, analytics, consulting, travel, commerce, or a related field.
• Strategic and analytical thinking with strong attention to detail and the ability to leverage multiple sources of information.
• Strong collaboration skills across levels and functions in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects, and drive them through completion.
• Curiosity and motivation to learn, improve, and innovate.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations to executives effectively and confidently.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation tools, ideally as a power user.

Nice to have

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree, or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree.
