Privacy Specialist (AI)

What you will do

• Serve as the privacy subject matter expert in discovery calls, tailored demos, executive briefings, proofs of value, RFPs, RFIs, and customer questionnaires.
• Lead proof of value engagements from scoping through customer readout, including success criteria, tenant and environment setup, and alignment with customer use cases.
• Support sellers and Revenue Operations by scoping privacy opportunities, coordinating active pursuits, and managing the privacy demo request process.
• Act as a power user of privacy products, including their modules, integrations, and configuration, while troubleshooting customer scenarios.
• Capture customer feedback, feature gaps, and win/loss insights for the Product team, and hand off customers to Customer Success and Implementation.
• Develop demo scripts, talk tracks, walkthroughs, enablement materials, and privacy positioning with Product Marketing.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a privacy-focused pre-sales, solutions engineering, privacy consulting, or technical privacy implementation role.
• Ability to build and deliver tailored product demos to technical and executive audiences, both in person and virtually.
• Strong working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, other US state privacy laws, emerging AI governance frameworks, DSRs, data mapping, RoPA, privacy impact assessments, and consent.
• Exceptional written communication skills for producing clear, accurate, and persuasive responses, proposals, and customer-ready documents.
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for privacy, legal, security, and data leaders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment working in or alongside Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success.

Nice to have

• Everyday fluency with AI tools for research, call preparation, drafting, and follow-up.
• Ability to explain how AI adoption increases privacy and data governance requirements, including assessments, data mapping, and processing records.
• Experience selecting, implementing, or operating privacy tooling in-house or through consulting engagements.
• Privacy certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT.
• Familiarity with data security concepts such as data discovery and data classification.
