Civil Associate I (Water Resources)

Location: Moon Township, PA, United States; office-based role involving site visits and field investigations.

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, technical reports, exhibits, and mapping products.
• Develop 1-D and 2-D hydrologic and hydraulic models to evaluate drainage infrastructure and flood risks.
• Design transportation drainage for complex infrastructure, including alternative delivery projects.
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and data collection.
• Communicate design updates, technical findings, and project information with multidisciplinary project teams.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of water resources engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or another engineering discipline with water resources engineering experience.
• Michigan EIT certification or the ability to obtain it within six months.
• Excellent speaking, oral, and written communication skills.
