Senior Software Engineer (Mobile)

Location: Hybrid, with 2 days in the Valbonne office and 3 days from home; must be based in France, hold a valid work permit, and be willing to relocate within 100 km of the Sophia Antipolis office.

What you will do

• Own features end to end in collaboration with Product and Design, from solution shaping through production follow-up.
• Build and maintain experiences for both iOS and Android applications.
• Develop the shared Kotlin Multiplatform layer and decide when logic belongs in shared or platform-specific code.
• Build and evolve backend APIs and services required by mobile features.
• Consider the complete user journey and the systems supporting it while maintaining code quality and learning from post-release results.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping products and shopping code to production.
• Strong production mobile experience on iOS or Android, with deep expertise in at least one platform.
• Willingness to work regularly across iOS, Android, shared Kotlin Multiplatform code, and backend services.
• Meaningful experience beyond the primary platform through another mobile platform, shared mobile code, or backend services.
• Ability to build the backend endpoints required by mobile applications, not only consume APIs.
• Ability to clarify ambiguous problems, propose solutions, unblock work, and carry solutions through to production.
• Good English, as English is the working language.

Nice to have

• Experience building backend services, especially with Go or Java.
• Experience shipping a mobile app with contributions to both iOS and Android.
• Experience working with Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Experience designing APIs and monitoring or troubleshooting production features.
