Application Developer (Java/Spring Boot)

Location: Audubon, PA, United States; onsite full-time role.

What you will do

• Provide guidance on application architecture, design, coding standards, code reviews, design patterns, and unit testing.
• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications, RESTful APIs, and Spring Boot microservices across the full software development lifecycle.
• Build responsive Angular interfaces, integrate them with RESTful APIs, and optimize cross-browser compatibility and UI performance in collaboration with UX/UI designers.
• Implement asynchronous messaging, database storage, caching, cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting with ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Mentor junior developers, lead knowledge sharing and Agile ceremonies, and collaborate with business analysts, product owners, QA, DevOps, Security, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a developer role.
• Backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Frontend development experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, API Gateway, microservices, and Java messaging services.
• Experience with Oracle, Firebase, and Redis databases.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker; Kubernetes; and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to meet the role’s physical requirements, including sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally, and performing specified visual tasks.
• Ability to follow company, AdvaMed, MedTech Code, legal, regulatory, compliance, and ethical business requirements.
