OPS Applications Developer I

Location: On-site at 4202 E Fowler Ave, Tampa, Florida, United States. Current work authorization in the United States is required; the position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Hiring salary: $28.85 per hour.

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain simple software applications, integrations, API calls, and data exchanges.
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and specifications, using pair programming and peer feedback to improve code quality.
• Assist with application deployments, API connection validation, unit and integration testing, data validation, release notes, and user guides.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues, including API connection failures, with monitoring and problem-solving tools.
• Refine user stories, create technical sub-tasks, and maintain end-user, technical, production, and operating documentation.
• Participate in technology learning, research emerging application-development trends, and share knowledge with peers.

Requirements

• One of the following education and experience combinations: a high school diploma or equivalent plus an IT certification; a high school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant work experience; or a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or another field involving software and analytical training.
• Ability to develop software components using programming languages and established frameworks.
• Knowledge of functional testing, including assessing functional requirements and product, system, and service characteristics.
• Knowledge of systems design, software configuration, and deployment practices.
• Foundational understanding of data handling, structured query languages, and analytical tools.
• Growth mindset, communication, collaboration, client focus, ownership, and outcome-driven execution.
• Current authorization to work in the United States.
