Engineering Manager (Marine Power)

Location: Mossville, Illinois; onsite five days a week. Travel may be required up to 10% because the reporting team is located across the UK and USA.

Salary: $147,760–$221,640 per year.

What you will do

• Manage the product management team for marine products within the Marine Power Products department.
• Lead teams based in Wimborne, Mossville, and Griffin across the complete product lifecycle, from NTI through current production and DTO.
• Develop customer-focused solutions for product development and current-production challenges.
• Manage and maintain product release plans and material plans.
• Drive programs to completion on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Knowledge of decision-making processes and associated tools; ability to analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to transmit, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs accurately.
• Understanding of customer and market focus, with the ability to respond to changing internal and external customer needs.
• Knowledge of people-management processes; ability to lead successful teams and address performance and workplace-conflict issues.
• Knowledge of global collaboration techniques and ability to build networks across countries and cultures.
• Ability to manage a global engineering team responsible for application and platform engineering for marine power products.
