Engineer - M&S (FEA)

Location: hirify.global, Wisconsin, United States; onsite role with regular attendance required.

Salary: $68,600.00–$109,200.00 per year.

What you will do

• Create finite element models and perform product analyses using CAE software.
• Use an HPC cluster to submit simulation jobs and retrieve analysis data.
• Develop and execute Engineering Work Requests using appropriate simulation methods.
• Interpret results in technical reports and presentations for design engineering teams and leadership.
• Propose product improvements that enhance performance, reduce cost, or lower weight.
• Follow modeling best practices, perform basic engineering calculations, collaborate with engineering teams, and develop scripting processes for automation.

Requirements

• Accredited bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline, such as Engineering Mechanics or Aerospace Engineering.
• Related work or internship experience.
• Ability to learn and use CAE software and become familiar with source data from Creo or CATIA.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while meeting deadlines.
• Professional and ethical conduct consistent with company policies.
• Regular attendance is required.

Nice to have

• Accredited master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics.
• Experience with ANSA, Abaqus, Nastran, or OptiStruct.
• Experience with computer-aided design software.
• Familiarity with high-performance computing clusters.
• Understanding of computer programming and scripting, including the ability to use and write Python for automated processes.
