Sr. Software Engineer - AI/ML - AI Platform (AI)

What you will do

• Drive the end-to-end delivery of AI-native products from prototypes to scalable production services.
• Architect, build, and productionize AI platform components involving LLMs, vector databases, prompt tuning, and agentic frameworks.
• Develop core agent capabilities including MCP, cross-platform tool use, web browsing, and computer use.
• Enforce technical discipline and operational excellence across AI products.
• Iterate on AI products using performance metrics and user feedback, and evaluate emerging AI technologies and frameworks.
• Partner with product managers and engineering teams to turn strategic goals into production-ready technical solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in backend software engineering with expertise in Python, Golang, gRPC, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience owning and shipping complex, production-grade systems.
• Proven experience shipping and maintaining AI-native products or features, or significant personal AI projects demonstrating equivalent passion.
• Strong ownership mindset, bias for action, and commitment to rapid delivery and feedback-driven iteration.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, another quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment is required.

Nice to have

• Specific experience with LLMs and agentic systems.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, LangChain, or MLflow.
• Advanced understanding of the probabilistic systems underpinning modern LLMs.
• Experience building AI products in accuracy-sensitive domains such as finance.
