What you will do

• Produce daily newscasts for broadcast across all platforms.
• Write, order, and approve news stories, scripts, and teases.
• Decide story order and time news programs.
• Balance news and feature content to create compelling broadcasts.
• Create graphics for newscasts and contribute to editorial meetings to assign content.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Minimum two years of experience in news operations.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work any shift.
