SAP/ LOTO Coordinator (8-10 Months Contract)

Location: Al Bihouth, Hameem Road, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; onsite contract role.

What you will do

• Lead the Lock-out/Tag-out office and coordinate permits to safe work for installation activities.
• Prepare and manage safe systems of work, switching schedules, permit systems, and other safety documents for electrical activities onsite.
• Maintain permit records, conduct site inspections, and lead the safe isolation of equipment.
• Train and authorize personnel for activities under electrical and mechanical safety rules, including serving as Senior Authorized Person for LV systems.
• Coordinate with commissioning, site management, and HSE teams to ensure safe testing, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Review RAMS against HSE requirements, ensure hazards are eliminated or mitigated, stop unsafe work, and deliver lessons learned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of active LoTo site experience and experience as a LoTo coordinator in industrial plants.
• Experience as a site electrical supervisor within construction or a related field.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• SAP operational safety training from a recognized training body or equivalent.
• Experience with HSEQ requirements and familiarity with electrical and mechanical safety rules.
• Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or equivalent.
• Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), Safepass, CSCS, or CCNSG card, or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications.
• Solution-oriented approach, strong forward planning, communication, presentation, evaluation, and negotiation skills.
