What you will do

• Promote a positive HSE culture through leadership, engagement, coaching, communication and training.
• Manage and continuously improve the HSE management system, strategy, objectives and improvement plans.
• Conduct audits, inspections, hazard identification, risk assessments and compliance assurance activities.
• Develop safe systems of work and control operational risks, including High Voltage, machinery safety, PUWER, LOTO and ergonomics.
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, emergency preparedness and occupational health support.
• Monitor environmental performance, manage REACH and RoHS compliance, oversee contractor and supplier HSE performance, and act as the HSE contact for regulators, customers and auditors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience with internal auditing and with being audited by external accreditation bodies.
• Detailed knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001.
• HSE-related qualification, such as NEBOSH.
• Environmental-related qualification, such as the IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management.
• Ability to motivate, build teams and drive cultural transformation.
• Successful candidates must undergo workforce screening, which may include Baseline Personnel Security checks, National Security Vetting, reference checks, working-rights verification and a security interview.
