Developer Interfaces Intern

Location: Remote within the United States or Canada; 4-month internship from January to April 2027. Remote work means working from the candidate's home country, with possible travel for in-person engagement.

hirify.global develops cybersecurity software for secure identity, application sign-in, device trust, password management, and unified access management.

What you will do

• Ship features and fixes for the hirify.global CLI, written in Go and Rust, used in terminals, scripts, and CI pipelines.
• Measure and improve CLI and SDK performance using benchmarks and usage data.
• Write design documents, gather feedback from senior engineers, and carry work through code review, testing, and release.
• Learn and apply secure authentication flows such as OAuth and safe secrets handling.
• Use AI coding tools responsibly by reviewing and verifying generated code and owning every submitted line.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go or Rust.
• Experience building a CLI, library, or API used by other people.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 or other authentication flows.
• Experience with developer documentation, OpenAPI specifications, or static site generators.
• Interest in how AI agents use developer tools.
