Staff Product Manager (Agentic Planning)

Location: Remote, United States

Base salary: $168,000–$285,600 USD annually for United States residents; excludes bonuses, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define the direction for software planning as people and artificial intelligence agents collaborate, turning open questions into concrete priorities.
• Shape how users capture intent, break it into actionable work, and determine which work can proceed autonomously versus requiring human involvement.
• Evaluate connections between software delivery, company priorities, business objectives, and budgets.
• Share ownership of work items, boards, specifications, and portfolio planning with another product manager, helping define the ownership split.
• Partner with engineering and design to translate product direction into roadmaps and improvements to planning workflows across hirify.global.
• Communicate recommendations to senior leaders, challenge assumptions constructively, and lead through changes in direction.

Requirements

• Experience leading product strategy and execution for software development, developer tools, or planning products, with depth in a specialized product area.
• Strong understanding of software development and development and operations (DevOps) workflows, including how planning decisions affect downstream delivery.
• Ability to form and defend a product point of view in an uncertain and changing market while remaining open to different ideas.
• Clear communication with technical teams and senior executives, including experience constructively challenging leadership decisions and building support for a direction.
• Ability to connect forward-looking strategy to practical product decisions and collaborate across product, engineering, and design.
