Contracts Manager (Offshore Oil and Gas)

What you will do

• Lead contractual and commercial management for a major offshore oil and gas development project across engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and consultancy contracts.
• Administer EPC, PMC, consultancy, and vendor contracts, including correspondence, formal notices, obligations, deliverables, and contractor performance.
• Manage contract changes, variation requests, change proposals, registers, approvals, and negotiations, including schedule and cost impact assessments.
• Lead contractor claims reviews, entitlement and liability analysis, multidisciplinary assessments, position papers, negotiations, and dispute resolution support.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks, support tendering and procurement activities, monitor payment applications and forecast liabilities, and coordinate with project controls and cost management.
• Interface with ADNOC, Project Management, engineering, construction, procurement, legal, contractors, and suppliers while preparing contract, commercial, risk, and performance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 25 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
• Minimum 10 years in Contracts Management roles on major capital projects.
• Minimum 5 years of PMC experience managing EPC contracts.
• Extensive knowledge of EPC contract structures and administration.
• Strong understanding of claims management and dispute resolution processes.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• PMP, MRICS, CCM, CIPS Professional Certification, FIDIC Training & Certification, Chartered Quantity Surveyor qualification, or Contract & Commercial Management Certification.
