Division Operation Manager (Construction - focused)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role requires strong site presence and high mobility, with Middle East experience preferred, ideally in the UAE; KSA is also considered.

What you will do

• Lead construction execution across multiple Oil & Gas projects and provide senior hands-on support to project teams.
• Manage and reallocate manpower and specialist resources across the portfolio, creating synergies between sites.
• Develop, review, and challenge construction methodologies, execution plans, and pre-construction strategies.
• Act as the senior escalation point for major construction issues and support Project Directors and Project Managers in resolving them.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, HSE, quality, and delivery standards, maintaining a strong site presence.
• Support project mobilisation, tenders, and the selection and development of key construction personnel.

Requirements

• Engineering degree at B.Sc. or M.Sc. level.
• 25–30 years of Oil & Gas construction experience; around 20 years may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Construction Director-level experience with a construction-focused contractor, leading site construction across multiple projects and owning resources, methodologies, and execution plans.
• Experience on projects valued at USD 500 million–1 billion.
• Strong Middle East experience, ideally in the UAE; KSA is also considered.
• Excellent English, high mobility, and the ability to lead complex construction work hands-on.
• Ability to manage cross-project resources, influence experienced project leaders, solve field constraints decisively, and collaborate with project management and functional heads.
• Ability to uphold high standards of HSE, quality, productivity, and delivery discipline.
