Platform Operations Engineer (Cloud)

Location: Business Centre "Labirint", 5th Floor, Liulin 10 District, Sofia, Bulgaria

Base pay range: €25,000–€55,000 per year

What you will do

• Support and manage software components of the cloud solutions technology stack.
• Handle escalations from 2nd-line support requiring platform, process, application, and technical knowledge.
• Support technical application operations and customer deployments.
• Monitor system status, activity, performance, capacity, cloud elasticity, and potential incidents.
• Maintain patches, updates, system asset and license records, storage volumes, and cloud resources.
• Participate in weekly on-call rotations, coordinate with vendors, monitor service levels, and use AI-enabled tools to improve operational efficiency while following AI governance and data privacy standards.

Requirements

• Working experience with AWS or Azure, or both.
• Working experience with Linux and/or Windows Server, SQL Server, Docker, and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and concepts.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking protocols, technologies, and LAN/VLAN configurations.
• Information Technology-related college degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues expediently, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, remain detail-oriented, and document work accurately and professionally.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Cloud team, escalate support to outside consultants or vendors when necessary, and transfer technical knowledge to other team members.
• Skills in prompting AI systems, assessing output quality, and leveraging AI to ideate, develop, and scale solutions for departmental needs.
