DevOps Cloud Engineer (Azure/AWS)

What you will do

• Operate and maintain reliable production platforms through monitoring, incident response, problem management, and root-cause analysis.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code for two platforms, including releases, environment management, and rollbacks.
• Manage controlled changes in an ITIL- and ISO 20000-aligned process within a regulated insurance environment.
• Maintain security baselines covering secrets, certificates, access policies, and vulnerability patching.
• Build and tune observability through dashboards, alerting, and log analysis, and use AI-assisted tooling for triage, log analysis, and runbook automation.
• Collaborate with client engineering and security teams and Swiss-based Service Managers; participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform operations, including at least two production systems operated under SLA.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure or AWS, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or Bicep, and CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of IAM concepts, including OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and directory services.
• Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Dynatrace, or Azure Monitor.
• Scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• A calm, structured approach to incident handling and change control in regulated environments.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Entra ID, Keycloak, ForgeRock, Ping, or SailPoint.
• ServiceNow or Jira Service Management experience.
• Practical use of AI tools in day-to-day engineering.
• Financial services or insurance experience.
• German language skills.
