Software Developer C#/.NET with German (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve modules for a global Manufacturing Execution System using C# and modern .NET.
• Apply AI to engineering and manufacturing use cases, including developer productivity, knowledge retrieval, anomaly detection, decision support, and workflow automation.
• Develop secure, maintainable web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Connect machines and enterprise systems through APIs and industrial interfaces such as OPC UA, and shape cloud-ready architectures for production environments.
• Work with manufacturing and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions from concept and technical design through testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate in an agile international engineering team through reviews, pairing, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience with C# and modern .NET.
• Knowledge of software design, APIs, automated testing, version control, and relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into dependable solutions with attention to users, quality, and maintainability.
• Practical curiosity about AI-assisted development and generative AI, with attention to security, data protection, and human oversight.
• Clear communication, ownership, and confidence working across cultures and disciplines.
• Professional English and German skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for team and site collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with ASP.NET Core, Blazor, .NET MAUI, Azure or cloud-native development, and AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, machine-learning services, or AI agents.
• Knowledge of industrial software environments, including MES, IIoT, edge computing, OPC UA, and high-availability systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, containers, observability, secure coding, and software architecture patterns.
• A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
