Senior Manager Business Ethics, Speak-up & Investigations (Defense Technology)

Location: On-site in Gilching, Bavaria, Germany.

What you will do

• Own and continuously enhance the Group Business Ethics & Integrity Program, including the Code of Conduct, anti-bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality, donations and sponsorships, ethical decision-making and non-retaliation.
• Develop and implement policies, standards, guidance, processes, risk-based training, communications and advice across the Group.
• Manage the Group Speak-up & Whistleblowing Framework, including reporting channels, intake, triage, confidentiality, case routing, non-retaliation safeguards and effectiveness monitoring.
• Lead sensitive and complex internal investigations, including mandates, planning, interviews, evidence handling, documentation, escalation, reporting, data protection and retention.
• Identify root causes and control weaknesses, agree corrective and preventive actions, and monitor implementation and effectiveness.
• Advise management and coordinate with relevant functions on material cases, trends, risks and remediation.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in business ethics, compliance, corporate investigations, white-collar crime or criminal law, including leading complex international investigations.
• A relevant degree or professional qualification, plus experience building ethics, anti-bribery, speak-up or investigations programmes.
• Strong investigation skills covering interviews, evidence assessment, root-cause analysis, remediation and prevention.
• Sound knowledge of business ethics, anti-bribery, whistleblower protection, data protection and employment law.
• Sound judgment, discretion and independence, with strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Defense, aerospace or government-contracting experience.
• Very good German.
