Lean Manufacturing Manager

Location: Slatina, Romania; the role covers two Slatina manufacturing locations.

What you will do

• Define and execute the Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing vision across two Slatina locations.
• Develop and strengthen Continuous Improvement toolkits, methodologies, and operating fundamentals.
• Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing processes, productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Support supervisors and managers with labor-hour and operational-resource management.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives focused on labor and material efficiency, and drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness improvements.
• Analyze operational data and KPIs, report results, and coach employees in Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, problem solving, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing, or Industrial Operations.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and tools.
• Experience with Six Sigma, 5S, OEE improvement, waste reduction, and process optimization.
• Experience working with manufacturing KPIs and translating operational data into concrete improvement actions.
• Strong analytical capabilities and a data-driven approach to identifying root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Experience supporting or leading cost-reduction, labor-efficiency, and material-efficiency projects.
• Ability to work effectively with plant leadership, supervisors, production teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, a hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and the ability to support implementation directly in manufacturing operations.
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, ability to manage multiple initiatives across locations, and a collaborative mindset focused on empowering people to improve processes.
