Financial Reporting Accountant

Location: Philadelphia, PA, US; onsite

hirify.global is hiring for a financial reporting accounting position supporting accurate reporting and financial controls.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under GAAP or IFRS.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare management reports, financial analyses, regulatory filings, and external reporting materials.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analyses while monitoring and strengthening financial reporting controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, ad hoc financial projects, and reporting process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or progress toward CPA.
• Knowledge of IFRS.
