Liquid Systems Sustaining Engineering Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: On-site in Korea at either the Jangan or Munmak facility; the role supports manufacturing operations, customers, suppliers, and engineering teams in Korea, Taiwan, and the United States. Domestic and international travel is required.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a global sustaining engineering team across Korea and Taiwan.
• Own technical support strategy and engineering escalation for released products throughout their lifecycle.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for customer complaints, field failures, quality concerns, and manufacturing issues.
• Drive improvements in product yield, quality, throughput, reliability, operational efficiency, performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Support business continuity, product transfers, alternate-source qualifications, supplier changes, manufacturing improvements, obsolescence, material changes, regulatory requirements, and end-of-life management.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Product Management, and New Product Development on customer engagements, audits, qualifications, change control, product stewardship, and future product design improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of engineering experience supporting manufacturing, product development, product engineering, or sustaining engineering activities.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Proven technical and organizational leadership in a global engineering environment, including experience leading sustaining, product, manufacturing, or operations engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving and structured root cause investigation skills, with experience supporting released products through quality, reliability, manufacturing, and customer-facing challenges.
• Ability to lead geographically distributed teams and influence stakeholders across functions and regions.
• Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management, change management, sustaining engineering processes, manufacturing processes, quality systems, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent English communication, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and align technical decisions with organizational goals.
• Commitment to coaching, mentoring, and developing engineering talent.

• Experience supporting products used in highly controlled and quality-sensitive industries.
• Experience with high-purity fluid handling, polymer components, semiconductor consumables, packaging, or related technologies.
• Experience leading global or multi-site engineering organizations.
• Korean language proficiency.
