Software Engineering Technical Specialist

What you will do

• Design, develop, integrate, deliver, and evolve highly scalable distributed software and related solutions.
• Develop solutions across domains including security, systems, databases, networking, and other technical areas.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product managers, customers, and partner teams throughout the agile software development lifecycle.
• Groom features and user stories, estimate work, identify technical risks and dependencies, and communicate them to project stakeholders.
• Drive the reduction of technical debt, vulnerabilities, and outdated third-party components.
• Coach and mentor engineers in designing and implementing highly available, secure, distributed software.

Requirements

• Experience and skills in one or more of the following areas: application development, data platform, security, application integration, data engineering, server systems, packaged application implementation, business analysis, network systems, or storage systems.
• Ability to provide technical expertise, guidance, problem-solving, and team leadership.
• Ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly and persuasively to customers and team members.
• Ability to identify and frame problems, collect relevant information, and integrate it into timely decisions.
• Customer-focused approach and commitment to customer success.
• Growth mindset, inclusive collaboration, and openness to working across organizational boundaries.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Master Certified Technical Specialist qualification.
