Data Analyst (Gaming)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; hybrid work with office attendance 2–3 times per week

Base salary: $100,000–$125,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop data analyses, conduct data exploration and validation, and identify player behavior and trend patterns.
• Define analytical metrics, build interactive visualizations, and present insights to support business decisions and growth.
• Research web and game usage data and analyze user experience and business processes to recommend improvements.
• Work with internal stakeholders to translate business data needs into analysis specifications and validate requirements against strategic goals and project objectives.
• Develop projects and skills involving Data Cloud technologies, data science models, data storytelling, and AI.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, sales analysis, consulting, statistics, or a related field.
• Experience with data extraction, data manipulation, and data mining tools.
• Experience creating data visualizations.
• Excellent knowledge of statistical analysis and the ability to extract data by writing SQL queries.
• Experience using Tableau or similar business intelligence tools.
• Ability to translate complex data into stories for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills, plus excellent time and project management skills.
• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience.
