Sr Specialist, Financial Analysis - Global Consolidation (Hybrid)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Occasional travel of less than 10%.

Salary: $108,000–$135,000 annually, plus potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Prepare and review consolidation activities, financial reporting schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with domestic and international finance teams to support timely, accurate, and complete reporting.
• Prepare analyses, reconciliations, consolidation adjustments, and elimination entries for investments in subsidiaries and other legal entities.
• Analyze consolidated financial results and communicate observations, trends, risks, and issues to management.
• Maintain reporting instructions, documentation, and process materials while executing controls that support reporting accuracy and completeness.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, analyses, and responses to inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience, plus eight years of experience with a degree.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and finance.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Advanced computer skills.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or progress toward professional certification.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Experience supporting financial reporting, consolidation, or accounting close processes.
• Experience working with large financial reporting systems and data sets.
