Engineer I - Corporate Applications (Embedded)

Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States of America; onsite role.

What you will do

• Provide technical support to customers through phone, support tickets, live chat, and other electronic communication channels.
• Analyze customer problems using product datasheets, schematics, scope plots, source code, and other technical tools.
• Perform hardware and firmware debugging with development tools to replicate and resolve issues.
• Document root causes and corrective actions to support issue resolution.
• Apply familiarity with machine learning and AI frameworks to develop solutions.
• Author and review Knowledge Base articles, application notes, and other technical collateral.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 0–3 years of professional experience developing embedded firmware and/or hardware.
• Strong C programming skills for embedded applications.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Expertise in one or more microcontroller peripherals: UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, DMA, or PWM.
• Strong working knowledge of electronic laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, digital multimeters, protocol analyzers, soldering irons, and other tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with Embedded Linux and RTOS.
• Customer support experience.
• Professional experience with Ethernet, USB, CAN, or Bluetooth.
• Understanding of power electronics, hardware development, schematic design, or PCB prototyping.
• Analog hardware background.
• Familiarity with hirify.global products and services.
